Cooking lessons

The cooking is the most famous and valued aspect of the Spanish culture. It is interesting to be told how to cook some Spanish dishes. Therefore you have the chance to take part in a cooking lesson, organized from Universpain, where typical dishes like paella, Spanish omelette… are being cooked in a relaxed and funny atmosphere. Of course you will prepare some tapas, too.

Wine tasting session

The wine-growing in Spain can be traced back to the times when the Tartessos were living on the Iberian Peninsula. Later it developed to one of the main supply areas of the Roman Empire. The cultivation last during the times of the Arabs as well.

In the past years the passion for the cultivation of wine has increased and Spain has reached the third place in this sector in the whole world. The wine offer has also increased in restaurants and taverns, due to that, an increase in wine consumption of Spanish wines can be recorded.

An offer of Universpain is a wine tasting session, a different way to get to know the different types of wine of the country.

During the wine tasting session we will inform you about the different types of grapes, origin, growing opportunities…after that a tasting of different wines will take place, whereby you can discover the different colour shade, tastes and flavours.

During the Spanish courses different workshops will be carried out that have the aim of improving your pronunciation and your expression, while you will get in touch with the most important authors of the Spanish literature.
